Patterson bakers have a few more weeks to ready their best recipes for the 2019 Apricot Fiesta Bake Contest.

Local bakers — must be a Patterson resident — can drop off their apricot baked goods between 4 and 5 p.m. on Saturday, May 25 at McAuley Ford, 250 N. El Circulo.

Private judging will begin at 5 p.m.

Those who enter the bake contest should bring baked good, a copy of the recipe used, name, address, phone number, and $5 entry fee at the time of drop off. An entry form also should be completed at the time of dropping off the baked goods.

Categories include: Miscellaneous Desserts, Pies, Cakes, Cookies and Bars and Anything Goes, a miscellaneous dish which includes apricots (non-dessert), and there will also be a Kids Entries category.

It is important to remember all recipes must include apricots!

A $5 entry fee is required for each baked item entered into the contest. A grand prizewinner will receive a cash prize, as will the first and second place winners in each category.
