PHS Volleyball

The Patterson High School athletic department has some shoes to fill this summer. The girls volleyball program is in need of coaches for the entire program from top to bottom. Varsity, junior varsity and freshman and assistant coaching positions are open for application.

Candidates are expected to have previous coaching experience at the club or school level. The school is looking for a candidate to lead the program at the varsity position.

Filling the girls volleyball position is a familiar proposition for Patterson High.

With head coach Trey Parson stepping down from the position heading into this summer, the program has now seen three different coaches in the last three seasons. Whoever takes over the program for the upcoming 2019 season will be the fourth coach to take on the responsibility in as many years.

Athletic Director Rob Cozart shared the deadline will remain open until the positions are filled. There is a stipend given for each position as compensation at the varsity ($4,228.72), junior varsity ($3,171.58), freshman ($2,907.25) and assistant ($2,642.95) positions.
