Senior Carolyn Dallimore steps up to the plate on May 1 at the Las Palmas softball field. 

The CIF Sac-Joaquin Section Division III softball playoff brackets are set. After winning a share of the Central California Conference title with Golden Valley, the Tigers will host Kimball High on Monday, May 13 at the Las Palmas softball field at 4 p.m.

Patterson earned a seventh seed placement following a 10-2 season in the CCC and a 15-8 record overall.

Kimball was awarded the 10th seed for their performance this season. The Jaguars put together 6-6 record in the Valley Oak League to finish tied for third place in league play. Oakdale (12-0) and East Union (10-2) finished in first and second place respectively. Kimball was 10-10 overall this spring.

Junior Rylie Costa led Kimball in hitting this season batting .509/.540/.824/1.365 at the plate. She led the team with 27 RBIs and four home runs.

Sophomore Leah Richardson was also a big reason for the Jaguar’s success. She batted .500/.567/.824/1.239 with 10 RBIs while tying Costa for a team high with 29 hits.

Overall Kimball batted .335 at the plate with 121 runs scored throughout the season.

Patterson senior Carolyn Dallimore led the team in RBIs with 28 this season, and was tied for a team high in home runs with junior Delihla Garcia with six. Dallimore batted .420/.489/.768/1.256 at the plate.

Delihla Garcia slashed .378/.410/.716/.1.126 at the plate this spring. She put together 21 RBIs in the process.

Aubrey Garcia also had 21 RBIs, and slashed .370/.446/.793/1.239 in 65 plate appearances.

Sophomore Danielle Werra Torres slashed .457/.519/.585/1.105. Her .457 average and .519 on base percentage led the team. She also led the Tigers with 10 stolen bases and 32 hits from the leadoff spot.

Patterson batted a .342 average at the plate and scored 150 runs as a team.

Patterson senior Alexis Zavala was their ace on the mound once again this spring. She finished the regular season with a 3.69 ERA in 98.2 innings pitched. She allowed 116 hits, 61 runs, 29 walks while striking out 69 batters.

The winner of Patterson versus Kimball will take on the victor of number two seed Del Campo and 15th seed Cordova Wednesday, May 15.
