Mikayla Mattos and Jeffrey Brown, both lifelong Tracy residents, celebrated their marriage Nov. 4, 2017.
The ceremony at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church was officiated by Deacon Pete Ryza and the Rev. Sleevaraj Pasala. The bride was given in marriage by her parents, Mike and Bernadette Mattos, also lifelong residents of Tracy.
Mikayla, a substitute teacher for school districts in the Tracy area, graduated from Tracy High School and earned a degree in liberal studies from California State University, Stanislaus.
Jeffrey, son of Jeff Brown and Jackie Rashe of Tracy, is a local farmer. He also graduated from Tracy High before earning his degree in ag business at California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo.
Mikayla’s maid of honor was Diane Cabral of Tracy. Her bridesmaids were Alexia Alegre, Ashley Serpa and Jessica Brown, all of Tracy. Jeffrey’s best man was Robert Toste of Tracy, and his groomsmen were Robb Brown of Tracy, Yordan Coss of Stockton and Michael Mattos, also of Tracy. Julienna Silva was the flower girl, and Eli McDonald of Wallis was the ring bearer.
After the ceremony at the church, the wedding party moved to Manteca for a reception at the FESM Portuguese Hall with music by DJ Dave Tillman.
The newlyweds honeymooned in Costa Rica.
