The December meeting of Preceptor Xi Phi Sorority was held at the home of Sue Henderson. Geni Boyer from Cambridge Academies Enterprise Center in Modesto was the guest speaker. Geni is working with Stanislaus County and the City of Patterson in hopes of making Naomi’s House for homeless women in Patterson a reality. There are approximately 22 homeless women in Patterson with no shelters for homeless women and children on the West Side.

Members of Preceptor Xi Phi will be collecting personal hygiene products in December to help these women. Geni also spoke about HOST House and the success stories from their Enterprise RESTART programs.

Other business discussed was the December brunch meeting held in Sacramento.  An invitation was read for the February brunch to be held in Modesto.

Marcia Homer was selected as “2019” Chapter Sweetheart. Marcia will be honored at the group’s Sweetheart Dinner to be held in February. The chapter will hold their Christmas party at the Westley Hotel on Saturday, December 15th.

The chapter’s next meeting will be held on Friday, January 4th at the home of Joel Covolo at 1:00 pm.
