My first photo is of my neighbors at the Animal Rescue of Tracy (ART). Every Tuesday, we clean the ART; vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping every room so that the rescue is nice and clean for the animals. And although my neighbors are a few years younger than me, we all enjoy helping out because we love making a difference in the community!

My second photo represents my passion for the arts — both literary and visual. I love to draw, and receiving a new pen set for my birthday has enabled me to create amazing, colorful pictures — I think I might start up a card-making business soon! The binder in the photo is a page from the draft of the book I have been writing for almost two years now. The small maroon notebook peeking in from the bottom was actually the inspiration for my novel!

I took the third photo from our back gate, looking out into the cul-de-sac on our street. In January, there were so many pretty sunsets that every evening, I would take my phone and capture each one. I love being in nature, and the sunset picture I submitted is my favorite because of the bright pink hues and iconic Tracy palm trees.
