Dorothy Bernice Kenley, 96, a Tracy resident for 70 years, died Wednesday at her home with her family around her. As she wished, services will be private.

Mrs. Kenley, known as “Be,” was born in Clovis and worked as an executive secretary at Levy Bros. department store in Fresno. In Tracy, she worked at Anderson Drug Store and was a food service employee with Tracy Unified School District.

She was a member of Tracy Bowling Association and Tracy Golden Girls for many years.

Survivors include a daughter, Judy Ferrari, and her husband, Albert, of Stockton; three grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

Her husband of 59 years, John Robert Kenley, preceded her in death in 2001.

Graveside services at Clovis Cemetery will be private. Hotchkiss Mortuary, 5 W. Highland Ave., is handling arrangements.

Contributions in Mrs. Kenley’s name may be sent to a charity of the donor’s choice.
