Carolyn Hall of Tracy and Roy H. Bernal of Mountain House celebrated their marriage Sept. 9, 2017, at the Lakeview Clubhouse in Manteca’s Del Webb community.
Carolyn, a former professional portrait photographer who settled in Tracy in 1992, is the daughter of Marcia and Bob Umberger of Manteca. Roy, a diesel technician and fabricator for Nor Cal Kenworth in San Leandro, has lived in Tracy and Mountain House for 15 years. He is the son of Roy Bernal and the late Linda Bernal. The couple met on Match.com.
The bride was given in marriage by her eldest daughter, Alexandria. She was attended by matron of honor Karen Thomas of Tracy and bridesmaid Mirielle Barrett of Riverside.
The groom’s new stepdaughter Cassidy stood by his side as his “best mamn.” His nephews Jake Oribello of San Francisco and Ryan Nguyen of Fremont were groomsmen, and nephew Zachary Oribello of Mountain House served as “special usher.”
During the wedding ceremony, the bride and groom and their children combined colored sand in a vase, signifying the joining of individuals into a unified family.
The newlyweds honeymooned in Mexico on the Rivera Maya before beginning their married life together at their home in Tracy.
