Four new members, Ameni Alexander, Olinga Yarber-Alexander, Simran Kaur and Dean McBeth, were recently welcomed into the Kiwanis Club of Tracy.

Kiwanis is a service organization serving the children of the community and the world.

The club meets at noon most Mondays at IHOP, 3120 Naglee Road. On the fourth Monday of each month, club members gather for a dinner social at 6 p.m. at Casa Grande, 30 W. 11th St.

Kiwanis International is a network of local service organizations serving children in communities around the world. Chapters also sponsor K-Kids, Builders, Key and Circle K clubs for students in elementary school through college.

The California-Nevada-Hawaii District, which includes the Tracy and Mountain House clubs, was established more than 100 years ago.
