Longtime Tracy Camera Club member Mickey McGuire won the most recent judging with “Hot Rod V8,” an image he submitted in the monochrome category.

“It reminded me of an old saying from my hot rod days that went, ‘If it don’t go, chrome it,’” he wrote.

He used a Sony digital camera and Silver Efex monochrome conversion software.

The Tracy Camera Club meets the second Wednesday of each month on the second floor of the Grand Theatre Center for the Arts, 715 Central Ave. A class begins at 6:30 p.m., followed by the general meeting and competition from 7 to 9 p.m. For information: Geoff Faulkner, president@tracycameraclub.org.
