The GFWC Tracy Woman’s Club will be accepting donations this weekend to help victims of the Camp Fire that devastated the town of Paradise in Butte County.

This is the second donation drive the club has organized for the Paradise fire victims. Just after the fire began, the club filled a trailer with clothing, coats, blankets and shoes that were taken to Oroville for distribution.

The organizer, Patricia Munson, said this collection is designed to help the fire victims with their next steps as they begin to rebuild. Suggested donations include clothing, pet food, small furniture, personal hygiene items, bedding and bottled water.

Donations can be taken to at 1331 Harding Ave. between 8 a.m. and dusk Saturday and Sunday.

Munson said she would also welcome volunteers to help pack the trailer, which will go to the Crossroads Community Church in Yuba City for sorting and distribution.
