St. Bernard’s Catholic Church renewed an annual tradition last weekend with the Fall Festival. The yearly celebration at the church, 165 W. Eaton Ave., began Friday and raises money for St. Bernard’s Catholic School.

The Fall Festival included many kids activities, an ongoing bingo game, silent auctions, a Sweet Shoppe filled with homemade baked goods donated by church parishioners and patrons. A food court featured fire-grilled Portuguese linguiça, Mexican food from Mi Esperanza Meat Market, Filipino adobo and lumpia, hamburgers, margaritas and a beer garden.

The church is still figuring out how much money came in from the three-day festival, which ended Sunday at 9 p.m., but parish administrator Jennifer Overby said it was a very successful gathering because it brought the vast majority of the congregation together to celebrate as one.
